Tonight on DStv’s MTV Base Meets with MTN series, Nigerian entrepreneur and media mogul Ben Murray Bruce share the secret of his success with a panel of aspiring young entrepreneurs. The interview was held in Lagos’eko Hotel.
Bruce changed the face of entertainment in Nigeria by pioneering the country’s first private radio and TV stations. He also opened the first cinema chain and shopping malls in Nigeria.
During the show, the youngsters grill him about matters in business and some of the key issues affecting them.
Bruce highlights the qualities needed for an entrepreneur to succeed in Africa as creativity, resilience, talent, a willingness to fight and persistence.
‘The future is yours, the future is here, the future is now and you are the future, ‘he says. Other guest to be featured in the series are musician Hugh Masekela (August 22), Nigerian entrepreneur Aliko Dangote (August 29) and R&B diva Alicia Keys (September 5). MTV Base meets with MTN airs at 6:30pm on DStv’s MTV Base (Channel 322) tonight.
