Suluman billed to perform at Gomojena

Sulumani
Award-winning singer Suluman Chimbetu is billed to perform at the newly opened Gomojena hangout in Mazowe tomorrow. Sulu, as his fans call him, will head his Orchestra Dendera Kings at the venue that seeks to offer quality entertainment every weekend. Stephen Gonah, who owns the place, said the stage was set for the first gig since the joint opened.
“We are ready to host Sulu this weekend and as you can see the stage has been prepared. “The tent will be erected on the eve of the show. “This is a first show I am hosting and can promise my patrons that more performers will grace Gomojena in future,” said Gonah. Gomojena was initiated as a party host in 2009 and was further renovated to the standards of top-drawer musical concert in 2010 and completed in this year.
Breathtaking scenery and the sight of wildlife notably zebra and impala grazing nearby add to the allure of Gomojena which patrons will find irresistible.

Gonah also revealed that Suluman would be expected to sample new songs from his forthcoming album.
“Suluman (Chimbetu) will be dishing out some of his new songs from his forthcoming album, and people should look forward to a good show as Slomo will also be performing,” he said. Suluman is also likely to play songs from last year’s album “Non-Stop” that shook the air waves and carries crowd favourites “Dzamutsana”, “Kwedu”, on which he features Oliver Mtukudzi, and “Temperature”.
