TK Paradza offering free download to his debut Album

ZIMBABWEAN R&B sensation TK Paradza set a very high marker with his single, Mr Liar. Now the New Zealand-based crooner is aiming for the stars with his debut album, 'Wallpaper', which is released this week – and you can download it today for FREE.

Redcliff-born TK, who is unsigned, is releasing the album as a download only – and he is offering the first 2,000 downloads free. ‘Catch Me’ is the first single from the album. The video for the song is due to be released on YouTube in a fortnight. TK said on Wednesday: “I worked with some really talented Zimbabwean producers on the album.
“My first single ‘Catch Me’ is produced by T-Collar, a US-based Zimbabwean producer.” Mr Liar, which received respectable airplay on New Zealand TV and radio, announced Paradza’s arrival on the music scene, and he joined a growing community of Zimbabwean singers in the diaspora. He said: “I’ve had tremendous support from Zimbabweans here in New Zealand and around the world, especially through my Facebook. People always give me feedback about my music and it’s been hugely positive. “New Zealanders have also been very kind, especially when I do events and live shows.”

TK is hard pressed to pick his favourite track on the new album. “It’s my baby, I wrote every track except 'Got Me On Fire' which was produced and written by Tags & Pip Kembo. “But I would say the song that I listen to most right now is ‘Catch Me’. ‘The Weekend’ and ‘Knock You Up’ are my weekend anthems.
“I also enjoyed my collaboration with Bkay & Kazz on ‘Kana Ndikatai’. But that’s almost the whole album!”
