Peter, Tryson rekindle Epworth night life

ENTERTAINMENT-starved residents of Epworth who normally rely on surrounding areas for quality entertainment will this weekend enjoy a good outing when two of the country’s upcoming musicians, Tryson Chimbetu and Peter Moyo, invade Zimunhu Bar this Saturday.

Residents in the area have for long been patronising venues located in surrounding areas like Harare for entertainment but this time the peri-urban centre will take pride in playing host to the duo of Tryson and Peter who are currently holding their own in the music industry.

And to spice up the gig will be the fact that they are performing at a show to mark the return of Zimunhu Bar into the mainstream entertainment circuit after it went into limbo some time back.
Epworth folk had been following their favourite artistes to Harare as Epworth lacks suitable venues capable of luring the crème de la crème.

But this is certain to change following the reopening of Zimunhu Bar. “Peter will be partnering another talented young musician Tryson and this means a lot to music lovers in Epworth who have been yearning to see them performing in their backyard.

“The two young musicians have been proving their mettle and they are maturing each day,” said Luckson Zimunhu, the manager of Zimunhu Bar. Tryson is currently riding high with his music that is luring huge crowds at most of his shows. He recently impressed at the 21st Movement Gala held in Chipinge last month, apart from his other sold-out shows.

Peter, on the other hand, is also having a purple patch similar to that of Tryson and, although he is yet to release an album of his own, the young man has caused a stir with his shows that are a must-attend for many music lovers. Culled from Herald
