Superstar Oliver Mtukudzi is expected to hold a farewell gig in Harare on the 30th of June before he tours Europe and America. Tuku is expected to hold a spectacular farewell show for his fans before his tour of Europe and America.
His manager Sam Mataure says the veteran musician is expected to return in September and will host his 60th birthday gig. "We have organised this wonderful show for our fans as we are going on a tour of Europe for some time. When we come back our fans will join us in celebrating superstar's 60th birthday gig," said Mataure.

Mtukudzi who will turn 60 on the 22nd says he owes his success to God who gave him life. "I am very happy because God has taken me this far and already my friends have started celebrations. My colleagues from other countries as well are coming here to join me in my birthday celebrations," said Mtukudzi.
Last year Mtukudzi celebrated his 59th birthday in style by releasing his 59th music album "Rudaviro". This year, the celebrations will come earlier as he will dish out his new musical, "Masanga Bodo", to be premiered in Harare this Friday.
During his tour, Mtukudzi will perform in London and Leicester at the Summer Splash Golden Tour, sharing the stage with sungura maestro, Alick Macheso and the Orchestra Mberikwazvo.
