Akon to feature in PSquare's ' Chop My Money Video'

Estelle remixes Dbanj's Oliver Twist

Nigerian superstar, Dbanj has again received international attention as his hit ‘Oliver Twist’ single receives a female twist from famous UK songstress, Estelle. Estelle reps for the ladies on her remix with shouts out to her American and British boys including Kanye West, Usher, and Tinie Tempah, but has a special place in her heart for her African brothers.

The cover or reinterpretation from Estelle is an eclectic, colorful record, which pays tribute to some special bros in her life: “I have a confession…Don’t take it personal…I love my Kanye West…I love my Usher, baby…I like my Tinie Tempah…I like my English boys..I like Jamaicans..I like American boys…But nothing can compare…I love my African boys..No matter where they from.” Estelle’s forthcoming album ‘All of Me’ is out February 28. Samuel Eto'o launches own Mobile Company

The four time African footballer of the year last week launched his own mobile network in his native country of Cameroon. Called Set' Mobile - (derived from the footballer's initials), it is the 3rd mobile operator in Cameroon after Orange and MTN. 

The new Mobile company is targeting the youth segment who are fans of the footballer. The 30yr old footballer currently plays for Russian team Anzhi Makhachkala where he earns $29 million every season after tax, making him the highest paid footballer in the world currently, and one of sports highest paid earners. Well done Eto'o!!!!

Yossou N’dou Trading Mic for Politics

He is the son of a car mechanic who began by hustling pirated CDs in car parks and went on to become one of the most influential recording artists in the world. Now Youssou N’Dour is putting his music career on hold so he can enter politics ahead of presidential elections in his native Senegal next Februar“I will free myself of all artistic commitments from 2 January next year to enter the political arena,” N’Dour told a cheering crowd at the weekend. “For me, there are two Senegals. The Senegal of the have-nots and Senegal of the haves. My concern is the Senegal of the have-nots,” the musician added on his own TV station, TCM, in the west African country.

Oliver Mtukudzi - Entrepreneur par excellence

Oliver Mtukudzi is carving out a business empire at his Pakare Paye Arts Centre in Norton. Operations director of the centre, Watson Chidzomba said Tuku was a serious businessman. “Pakare Paye Arts Centre was established in 2003 and it comprises of the Sam Mtukudzi conference centre, restaurants, lodges, offices, as well as an open-air stage,” said Chidzomba.

Most people in Zimbabwe still remember the ZAR Festival Concert, which featured Lil Kim, Ciara plus many others. The brains behind that concert was a gentleman called Kenny Kunene a flamboyant self-made South African millionaire. 

This guy's story is true rags to riches story, he is self-made, a former convict who turned around his misfortune and managed to come up with a brilliant business empire. In south Africa he is an enigma, the epitome of entertainment. Through his ZAR night club brand, he has managed to redefine clubbing. During his birthday last year, he made headlines as he ate sushi from half naked models.
