Pole dancer Bev invades Bulawayo

Beverly Sibanda
CONTROVERSIAL and pornographic dancing queen POPULAR Beverly Sibanda "Bev" invades Bulawayo and Gwanda for a raunchy performance code-named "Bev Vs Sexy Angels, Live and Uncensored."

Bev has sent tongues wagging in Harare where her performances are attracting huge crowds in night clubs. But on Friday night Bulawayo revelers will sample Bev's sexually suggestive dances at Basement Night Club located at a three star hotel in the central business district.

Bev courted more controversy with her new dances where she sits on a beer bottle although the act angered beverages manufacturer Delta. She is now using a Viceroy bottle. Bev told journalists that the City of Kings fans should brace themselves for non-stop, mind-blowing and jaw-dropping dance action.

Bev wows fans at dancing queens’ clash

Popular pole dancer Beverley Sibanda, aka Bev, wowed hundreds of fans with her raunchy routines at the City Sports Bar in Harare on Saturday night where she clashed with Bulawayo-based outfit Girls La Musica.

The vivacious pole dancer performed a raunchy and erotic lap dance on a male fan she called onto the stage during her weekend show. Wearing a revealing red outfit and fishnet stockings, the dancer aggressively pushed the man back before straddling him and thrusting her body over the bemused man.

And of course she did the bottle act but this time without the Castle Lager bottle. Delta Beverages, Zimbabwe’s beer manufacturer, has strongly objected to her use of their bottle in a controversial act.
Bev has a history of highly-sexualised and provocative performances but took it to a whole new level during the “2 in 1 Clash of the Dancing Queens” at the City Sport Bar.

Beverly opens up on life, love

Beverley Sibanda
THE mere mention of her name conjures images of sensual, seductive and erotic dances — an affront of female dignity. In a world where dancing is assumed a vertical expression of horizontal desires, many men who flock to Beverly Sibanda’s shows are left drooling. What a pleasure manager!

At her shows, some sloshed fans are even heard shouting: “I won’t go home, home should follow me to where Bev will be.” Such is her magical touch.

But when you associate with her, you will be surprised to note that she has two contrasting characters. Explosive and mad on stage! Calm, cool and composed at home. Call it the idyll of separating work from leisure!

'' I am now teaching women how to perform in bed - Bev

Beverley Sibanda
Popular dancer, Bev Sibanda, says she is now teaching women how to perform in bed during kitchen parties.

Bev said initially women threw brickbats at her but attitudes towards her have  changed. Previously, women were jealous of me, thinking that I was a home-wrecker but that has since changed because they now appreciate that I am an artiste.

“Recently, I have been attending women parties where besides dancing, the women also want me to teach them how to dance as well as perform in bed,” she said. The mother of one spends most of her time at home in Helensvale where she rents a one-bed roomed apartment.

Pole dancer Bev's 'bottle act' angers Delta

Raunchy dancer, Beverly Sibanda and Delta Beverages are on a collision course over the indecent use of beer bottles in her dance routines.

Two weeks ago, Bev as Sibanda is fondly known, made headlines with a routine where she seemingly inserted the top part of a quart into her privates. Last week, George Mutendadzamera, Corporate Director of the beverages concern, urged clients to desist from using bottles for any other use that is not intended.

“It has come to our attention that a small number of our consumers are not properly using our returnable glass bottles,” said Mutendadzamera. “We, therefore, take this opportunity to remind consumers that the empty bottles remain our property and may be used only for the commercial purpose for which they are intended by the company.

Pole Dancer Bev heads to South Africa

Beverley Sibanda
After a strong showing of her raunchy dances at most of the Harare’s entertainment joints — Beverly Sibanda is now crossing the mighty Limpopo River to South Africa, to perform this weekend. Bev and her Sexy Angels group are expected to put Musina on fire this weekend. Her manager Haperz Mapimhidze told the Daily News that Bev has two shows in Mzansi’s Musina this Friday and Saturday.

“The Musina shows will be her first shows outside the country. We used to perform in Beitbridge and for this reason South Africans fell in love with her, that is why they invited her,” said Mapimhidze.
Mapimhidze is glad that the most-sought-after dancer is expanding her fan base regionally.

I am not a husband snatcher: Bev

Beverley Sibanda
“Do not try this at home” should be a sign bar managers put up when she takes to the stage. The way popular dancer Beverly Sibanda wiggles her body to rhumba and sungura music as well as pole dancing routines has left Harare talking. Her act is certainly something not just any flexible woman can do.

The movements can cause severe damage to the spinal cord if one attempts to copy her without the inborn talent. “People love what I do. I have had so many girls asking me to teach them to dance,” she says proudly. Sibanda, who lives with her sister in the upmarket suburb of Borrowdale, boasts about her go-easy personality.

Pole dancers in war of words

Beverley Sibanda
