Harare Pole dancer Bev attacked on stage

Beverley Sibanda
Harare's popular Pole dancer, Beverly Sibanda had to abandon her show at Drive Inn in Glen View last weekend after being dragged from the stage and attacked by an angry mob. Bev confirmed the incident and said that it was the work of her rivals. Her bouncer was nowhere to be seen on the night.

"I was assaulted but it was nothing. I cried while on stage. It was work of haters. They wanted to disrupt my show and it was a clear indication that I am now a force to reckon within the dancing industry and I believe my competitors sent them," she said.

Beverly turns to ‘Borrowdale’

Beverly Sibanda
One of Harare’s popular pole dancers, Beverly Sibanda, known in the entertainment circles as Bev, is never short of surprises. Just a few months ago, she made the headlines when she joined several Harare female socialites in pole dancing, a new entertainment craze that has hit the capital.

Hardly a month after swearing that she will not engage in any form of dancing apart from pole dancing, the diminutive dancer has suddenly developed an interest in sungura and any local groove, in addition to her penchant for African beats soukous and rhumba.

Beverly, Zoey in war of words

Beverly Sibanda
Pole dancing, a new entertainment craze that has literally taken Harare by storm, seems to be getting dirtier each day on and off the stage following reports that some of the girls are now stripping in a bid to lure more revellers. As if that is not enough, two of the top dancing girls have launched a war against each other, through mudslinging, probably in a bid to maintain pole positions as more girls join the turf.
