Slomo joins Macheso on stage

Talented dancer Franco Slomo took music fans down memory lane when he joined macheso on stage last week on sunday at mega 1 bar. Slomo was seen talking to Nyazanda before he made his way to the stage amid wild cheers from fans.

Franco jo hin mberikwazvo dancer on stage and demonstrated his dancingrocess, clearly showing that he is indeed versatile in his dancing skills. He did not stay on stage for a long time, when he was leaving the stage fans begged him to continue delighting them.

Meanwhile Macheso did not say anything, he pretended as if nothing had happened.  After his performance slom said he just wanted to dispel rumours that there was bad blood between him and his former band mates. He also took the opportunity to inform his fans that he was not thinking of joining Macheso as he was very happy at Sulu' band.

I don’t regret leaving Macheso — Slomo

Prolific dancer Franco Dhaka, popularly known as “Slomo”, has said he does not regret dumping Alick Macheso for Sulumani Chimbetu. Speaking at Romeo Gasa’s album launch at Jazz 105 last week, Slomo said he has since adapted to Sulumani’s dance routines.

Former Orchestra Mberikwazvo dancer Francis "Slomo" Dhaka says he has settled well at his new home - Orchestra Dendera Kings. Slomo has already introduced some new dances to his Dendera Kings apart from doubling as the leader of choreographs. "We are doing things uniformly, I have already introduced some new dances to the group and very soon I will also unveil another new dance called ‘coconut dance'," he said.
