HIFA Sets Harare on fire

Zimbabwe’s biggest arts showcase, the Harare International Festival of the Arts, exploded to life on Tuesday night with an exhilarating performance that ignited a revelling mood among thousands of people who turned up at the Harare Gardens.

The grand opening, a uniquely powerful Zimbabwean act that was made possible with the effort of 170 artistes, turned out to be a powerful and awesome act that aptly captured all the events that will run throughout the week.

A show of spirit at Hifa

It was indeed a show of spirit at the Harare International Festival of the Arts (Hifa) opening ceremony on Tuesday night when musicians and dancers of various genres graced the Telecel Main Stage for an outstanding performance themed “A Show of Spirit”. The performers showed a spirit of unity as they explored various genres and dances to exhibit spectacular expertise.

All Roads lead to HIFA

as 13th edition of arts fiesta roars into life......
Harare will tonight reverberate into song and dance when Zimbabwe’s biggest arts premier arts extravaganza — the Harare. International Festival of the Arts — starts.

The six-day fiesta, which seems to be getting better and bigger every year, will undoubtedly enchant art enthusiasts, who for six days would be treated to first class performances, what with a whopping 197 artists who are expected to grace the event.
