Dhewa's son stages a memorable show in Gweru

The late sungura maestro Tongai Moyo’s legacy still lives on as witnessed on Friday when his son Peter proved that with time he can be counted among the best. Indeed the Friday concert in Gweru, at Midlands Hotel proved that Peter would eventually fit into his father’s class and bill.

It’s a mixed bag of entertainment this weekend!

IN a rare show, secular musicians Sulumane Chimbetu, Extra Large and Selmor Mtukudzi among others are performing at a church-organised function to be held at the Christ Embassy Church in Belvedere tomorrow.

The move is meant to show the nation that people are the same despite their different faiths and beliefs.
