Dancehall superstar Sizzla, real name Miguel Collins, collided with a bus around 8.30 Pm in Parish St Ann and is believed to be in a stable condition. It is reported that Sizzla was not wearing a helmet.
A member of his team said the singer was conscious but could not say the extent of his injuries.
The dancehall star is best known for hits such as Praise Ye Jah, Black Woman and Child and Thank You Mama, was scheduled to do a series of tours in Africa, Japan, Brazil, Guyana in the coming months to promotes his latest album called ‘The Scriptures’. Sizzla relocated to Zimbabwe after he was given a farm by President Mugabe after performing at his birthday party last year.‘I am here to stay Sizzla told the state-owned Sunday Mail Weekly newspaper. ‘Zimbabwe is home.
