X-Factor 2011 has just started, with viewership topping 11.4 million. One contestant that caught my eye is 19-year-old Misha who has been singing since the age of nine and hopes to be a world class recording artist.
Having been brought up from a young age by her Aunty, Misha's hopes are not only to progress in the competition, but to make her Aunty proud.With a mix of excitement and nerves, Misha took to the stage and performed her rendition of Aretha Franklin's 'Respect', it was a sensational performance. She displayed confidence and artistic attitude that blended well with the lyrics. Both Judges were blown off with Kelly Rowland describing her performance as outstanding.We wish you all the best Misha, hopefully you will be judged for your artistic brilliance and not who you are and where you come from...Jah bless
