Former Big Brother Amplified housemate Vimbai Mutinhiri is set to launch own range of fragrance before year end. The top model said the as yet to be named fragrance will be for women. Already the production of the fragrance is said to be at an advanced stage and the line will be out in time for the launch. “The fragrance is now at an advanced stage. What is left is for us to test what is the best formula and decide on a name for it,” said an elated Vimbai. She said it was her hope that the fragrance would go international and become a top seller.
Vimbai, who was once the face of M-Net, said the fragrance would be subtle and refreshing for its users. “We are taking time because we wanted the product to be of high quality and attain international standards,” she said. Apart from launching the fragrance the socialite said she was also going to continue with her programme dubbed “The Zimbabwean Dream Campaign”, a charitable campaign to assist orphanages in Zimbabwe. “I am going to carry on with my programme of donating to the less privileged in our society so that I can help change their lives,” Vimbai said.
She urged the corporate world to follow suit and donate to the orphanages and change their lives. She donated part of the US$10 000 she received from the President to charity. Arguably one of the finest models to emerge from Zimbabwe, Vimbai rose to fame during her stay in Big Brother Amplified reality series along with fellow housemate Wendall Parson, who eventually became a co-winner and scooped US$200 000.
