Alick Macheso’s daughter, Sharon, who claims to be a virgin, triggered a huge scene at her father’s show at the Harare Gardens when two men clashed over her. Sharon came to the show with one Kudakwashe whom she said was her diaspora boyfriend but another guy showed up and threatened to beat Sharon saying he had been dating her.
Family members and friends had to act fast to quell the situation. For a while, Sharon stole the show from her father who was on stage as fans encircled them to inquire; only to learn that Sharon was accused of bedhopping. Sharon’s mother Nyadzisai had to whisk her away to their Honda CRV but the melee continued. Sharon’s aunt was not happy that she had brought a boyfriend to her father’s show.
“Hazvina hunhu izvi (There is no decency)” she could be heard shouting. However, Nyadzisai watered down allegations that the fracas was started by the boyfriend who allegedly threatened Sharon for playing her. “Well, there is no boyfriend that came, its only Kuda that she is dating. The scuffle started when she (Sharon) had an argument with my sister and they always clash. I had to make sure that she (Sharon) goes home,” said Nyadzisai.
Nyadzisai confirmed that Kudakwashe was her daughter’s love and he was the official son-in-law that was introduced to the family. “Hongu, ndiye mukuwasha wedu mumusha; ndiye watinoziva (Yes that our official son in law),” said Nyadzisai. Kudakwashe in fact came driving Macheso’s green Honda CRV. The couple danced to Macheso’s music as they downed some beers and ciders. H METRO
