Zimbabwean music icon Oliver Mtukudzi will be in Zambia in a fortnight’s on a two-show tour. Mtukudzi will be supported by The Sakala Brothers on his Let’s Celebrate concert tour. The Zimbabwean will hold his first performance at Portico Restaurant Lusaka on November 18.
A day later, Mtukudzi will take the Tuku Magic to Kitwe at The Farm House where he will partner with some Copperbelt-based musicians. And Mtukudzi’s manager Sam Mataure who confirmed the musicians’ forthcoming visit to Zambia said the two-leg concert was meant to reach out to his fans on this side of the Zambezi.
“The show is definitely on and basically what we are trying to do is to reach to our fans across the Zambezi River. We are hoping to have a good time,” he said. Meanwhile Victoria Chembe of Madats Promotions, who are working in conjunction with Harare-based Hardcore World Entertainment the organisers of the concert, promised fans memorable nights.
