Former child rapper Bow Wow could be put behind bars for failing to file paperwork in connection with a civil lawsuit, according to a US report. According to TMZ.com a judge in Georgia has ordered that the 24-year-old hip-hop star be arrested and held in custody.

The showbiz news website reports that the rapper's legal troubles stretches back to 2009 when he was ordered by a Tennessee court to pay nearly $100,000 to a tour bus company. The firm sued the performer for allegedly not paying his bill. TMZ.com reports that Bow Wow was ordered to produce documents in relation to the case in Georgia, where he lives.

The rapper allegedly never did this, prompting the company to file a motion to have him held in contempt.
The website reports that in October the judge finally granted the motion and ordered that the hip-hop star be arrested and held until he produces the relevant documents. (Dailynews UK)
