'Mentally ill' Diddy fan breaks in his house and sleeps on his bed

An obsessed P. Diddy fan has been sentenced to jail for trespassing on the rapper's property. Quamine Taylor was sent down after being unable to post his $2,000 bail for breaking into P.Diddy's East Hampton property in April, drinking his alcohol, sleeping in his bed and even using his toothbrush.

The 30-year-old Queens, New York, resident - who has a history of mental health illness - was ordered to stay away from the estate for five years and charged with trespassing and petit larceny. He told prosecutors at the Suffolk County court: "I brought a cheese steak, a cheese cake, a bucket of fried chicken - which I ate at the house - and drank a 'dollar' bottle of Hennessy and four cans of Pepsi."

Quamine was arrested on April 1 after spending 24 hours at P. Diddy's luxury palace while the rapper - real name Sean Combs - was away. He also downed a bottle of Hpnotiq vodka, smoked three of P.Diddy's Dutch Masters cigars and drank an orange soda.

The crazed fan then used the rapper's soap and aftershave before settling down to sleep in his bed, according to the New York Post. Security guards found him at 1am when he set off an alarm, but he persuaded them he was a member of the star's infamously large entourage until a caretaker called the police.

The fan's mother told the court he had grown up with P. Diddy's music and spoke of his troubled past. She said: "He has a long history of mental illness, and he has been off his meds for a while. We have been trying to get him some help."

Quamine - who snuck in through the unlocked basement door - admitted at the time of his arrest that he was a regular visitor to the property since 2001.  Speaking of his last attempt, he said: "I got a good night's sleep, but it's not anything too special. It's just like a three-bedroom."
