Malaika Mushandu Zimbabwe's representative at Miss World finals made it into the top 20 finalists in the Top Model Category of the coveted competition. Malaika competed against an impressive field of 121 other leggy models and made it into the top 20.
Mushandu and Miss Kenya, Catherine Anyango, were the only two Africans among the finalists. Top Model is one of six pre-final events. The 122 models will also take part in five other contests Miss Beach Beauty, Beauty With A Purpose, Fitness, Talent and Traditional Dance - before the finals at Earls Court in London on November 6.
