WHAT began as a good show for Sharon Macheso and her LATEST boyfriend at the Harare Gardens on Sunday turned into an ugly scene when another man came claiming to be the official boyfriend. The Paris Hilton of Zimbabwe is well and truly proving to be a hunk magnet if the fisticuffs are anything to go by!

Family members and friends had to act fast to quell the situation when another unidentified man had come in full force threatening to beat the living daylights out of Sharon and her lover identified as Kudakwashe. He accused Sharon of being a TWO TIMER. For a while, Sharon stole the show from her father who was on stage as fans encircled them to inquire; only to learn that Sharon was accused of BEDHOPPING.

Sharon’s mother Nyadzisai had to whisk her away to their Honda CRV but the melee continued. Sharon’s aunt was questioning why she had brought her boyfriend to the show as she felt it was ‘un-African’ for Sharon to freely drink alcohol messing with her boyfriend in front of her parents and elders. The aunt spoke from a point deep in the traditions that it was taboo to bring your boyfriend in the vicinity of one’s parents.

In African tradition, butt-slapping with an unofficial ‘unregistered’ other half around one’s parents is a no-no. Still, taking him to her FATHER’S show was pushing the envelope a wee-bit too much! “Hazvina hunhu izvi (There is no decency)” she could be heard shouting. However, Nyadzisai watered down allegations that the fracas was started by the boyfriend who allegedly threatened Sharon for playing her.

“Well, there is no boyfriend that came, its only Kuda that she is dating. “The scuffle started when she (Sharon) had an argument with my sister and they always clash. “I had to make sure that she (Sharon) goes home,” said Nyadzisai This is the FIRST time that Alick Macheso’s daughter and socialite Sharon, has paraded her official boyfriend at a public place.

Sharon had always bragged that her boyfriend is in the Diaspora and although H-Metro could not verify whether Kuda is the boyfriend from the Diaspora, his demeanor and dress code indeed matched that of a Diasporan. He was sporting plaited her, wore gold chains, spoke with an American accent, wore baggy pants and walked in the gait of a hip hop artiste straight out of Brooklyn.

Sharon’s mother Nyadzisai CONFIRMED that Kudakwashe was her daughter’s love and he was the official son-in-law that was introduced to the family. “Hongu, ndiye mukuwasha wedu mumusha; ndiye watinoziva (Yes that our official son in law),” said Nyadzisai. She however, could NOT shed more light on the marital status of the couple but Kudakwashe is believed to be in a very serious relationship with Sharon.
