Adele breaks Whitney Houston's Record on Billboard

Adele
Adele is unstoppable. Fresh off her Brit Awards and Grammy wins, the British superstar has another achievement under her young belt. Billboard reports that in its 21st week at No. 1, ’21′ beat Whitney Houston’s ‘The Bodyguard’ soundtrack for the most weeks at No. 1 ever by a woman.
But that’s not all.
Adele also became the first woman in the history of the Hot 100 chart to have three singles in the Top 10 at once. ‘Set Fire to the Rain’ rests at No. 2, ‘Someone Like You’ at No. 7, and ‘Rolling in the Deep’ at No. 5. Only four other artists or groups have accomplished that: Chris Brown in 2008, Usher in 2004, the Bee Gees in 1978 and the Beatles in 1964.

On top of all that, her debut album, ’19,’ is at no. 4 — and is on the chart for its 122nd week! The chart positions for ’21′ are a result of the whopping 730,000 copies Adele sold last week following her Grammy sweep. We bet she’s never been happier to get dumped. You go, girl!
