Willom Tight still in the game

Willom Tight
PROLIFIC AFRO-JAZZ crooner and composer, Willom Tight — real name Willbroad Muponda — is still on top of his game despite keeping a low profile! The Mabvuku-based crooner reaffirmed his eloquence during the launch of his fourth album Chinyerere at Delta Gallery where he delivered a flawless act set to remain engraved in the minds of many for sometime.
The versatile singer also proved his foes wrong who had written him off as he made the simple appear sophisticated. He played both old and new songs although tracks from his latest offering were simply hot. Commenting on the success of his project, Willom Tight said: “'I am happy that my album came out like this and I had not anticipated that it would be so successful.” Speaking at the same event, Ambassador Oliver Mtukudzi praised Willom Tight for his great artistry.

“What Willom does is to heal the nation, to give people hope and I have been doing so for a long time. I am glad that he has done it while I am still alive,” Oliver Mtukudzi is quoted as saying at the launch. His producer, Clive Mono Mukundu of Monolio Studios simply described the album as a bomb. Veteran jazz crooner Bob Nyabinde also graced the event and described it as a success. (HMetro)
