Raunchy dancer and theatre actress Sandra Ndebele is set to star in Cont Mhlanga’s upcoming drama called “The Nyaminyami”. This follows her impressive act during the auditions recently held at Amakhosi Cultural Centre.
Sandy, as she is popularly known in show business, will feature as “Siphetho”, the wife of a farm manager, played by exciting and experienced actor Thulani Mbambo. Mhlanga said he was surprised and impressed by the mother of two’s performances during the auditions. “I was impressed by Sandra Ndebele’s amazing performance despite knowing her as a musician, she defied all odds.
“Actually, I think she made the wrong decision by going into music because she is a good actor,” he said jokingly. Eyes will be on Sandy who dominated the dance scene in the early 2000s, as a comparison between her musical performance and the acting talent will surely not be ignored.
