Fans content with Teclar's eviction from BBA7

Teclar on the left - was eliminated from BBA7
Most fans seemed impressed with the Big Brother Stargame eviction show results which saw one of the country’s three representatives, Teclar Mazanhi, evicted from the game on Sunday. Teclar’s younger sister, Maneta, bagged eight country votes, which turned out to be her saving grace while Teclar had no votes.

There had been a concerted campaign on the Big Brother Facebook fan page to have Teclar evicted and Maneta remain. Maneta was actually elevated to the Big Brother Upville house where the celebrity housemates are resident. There are no evictions in this house.
One fan, Obert Chauke, wrote: “Zimbabweans, we need to bring Teclar back home so that she leaves Maneta to focus on the game. Teclar is an embarrassment and she is doing us no good in that house as a nation.”  Following Teclar’s eviction, Roki’s Facebook administrators wrote: “We did it, Yeaaah Zimbabwe!!!”

Fans who watched the live eviction show at the Keg & Maiden BBA official fan lounge clapped their hands when Teclar was evicted. After a week of endless speculation, housemates and fans of the show were finally put out of their misery on Sunday evening which saw Tanzania’s only housemates, Hilda and Julio getting evicted from the Downville house.

Fellow Downville housemates did not seem too gutted about the eviction news and proclaimed “More food for us”. Teclar’s departure is likely to put Maneta in contention as the big sister syndrome Teclar had displayed tended to affect the younger Mazanhi. Over the weekend, the two had a heated argument with Teclar taking offence to her baby sister calling her a “man sniper”.

A pissed-off Teclar told her sister to watch her mouth and not talk about stuff like that on television. The two went at each other for close to 30 minutes in the bedroom, despite protestations from the other housemates.

As Biggie had highlighted to the housemates earlier that Big Brother is a game of chance, this year’s game is no different from the lottery system as the housemates have to watch the Random Nominations Machine selecting housemates for eviction. This week, the machine nominated housemates from Liberia and Sierra Leone for possible eviction from the Downville house.

The two countries are unfortunate because this is their first year in the show and some are likely to leave soon. Meanwhile, the Zimbabwean celebrity housemate, Roki, is failing to hide his weakness for ladies as he already seems to fancy Maneta.

He tried his luck on her when she entered the Upville house but was unlucky as she clearly told him to leave her alone. Maneta is the third lady Roki has hit on after Lady May (Namibia) and Barbz (South Africa). In another development, the two Angolan representatives who almost left the game last week are back on track.

Espéranca (Angola) had highlighted to Big Brother that she wanted to leave the game for personal reasons and Biggie told her that if she left, she would have to leave with her partner, Seydou. Seydou pleaded with Espéranca, telling her she was not a quitter and needed to be strong. She was convinced.  Newsday
