BBA6 Winner Wendal and Karen |
Last year’s Big Brother Africa winner Wendall “Nibbles” Parsons has given a thumbs up to Zimbabwe’s BB Stargame representative Rockford “Roki” Josphat. The show begins tomorrow and Wendall expressed confidence in Roki whom he branded as a “bad boy.”
“Roki has the personality and character to survive in the house. “I had heard rumours before even from last year that he was going to be a housemate and I thought he would blend in very well. I think he has the capacity to win, I mean we are Zimbabweans and we do everything to win. All Roki needs is the support from the country. If it rallies behind him, he will survive,” he said.
Zimbabweans took to the social network sites to support the controversial and talented musician Roki on his Big Brother quest. This year’s contest dubbed “Big Brother Stargame” will see several celebrities from different African countries living together for 90 days.
Roki is among the few housemates who were announced on Thursday and has so far attracted positive and negative comments from the Internet community. Other contestants are DKB from Ghana (26), Prezzo from Kenya (32), Lady May from Namibia (25), Goldie from Nigeria (28), and Barbz from South Africa (34) and Mampi from Zambia (25).
More housemates will be revealed this Sunday when the show kicks off. “Big Brother Stargame’s Facebook page yesterday afternoon had more than 100 positive comments on Roki’s picture and almost 200 comments. Rudo Ruxshanti: Roki ibenzi redu let’s support him all the way, controversy at its best don’t you think, he is just what we need!
