In search of Zimbabwe's next Idol

A 1990s ZTV talent show is returning to the small screen after plans for nationwide auditions were unveiled on Saturday. StarBrite is credited with launching the musical careers of singers like Prudence Katomani-Mbofana, Matthew Kaunda and CJ Besa among others. Now the show’s original hosts Barney Mpariwa and Vambe ‘VJ’ Jirira are teaming up again to go on a nationwide talent search beginning in Marondera on September 15.

2011 Afrotainment Museke Music Awards

On 24 September the cream of the African music Industry will gather at the Afro-glam red carpet event at the Afrotainment Studio in New York City to celebrate and honour African artists for their various contributions to Art and culture.
