Fungisai performed renditions of Sulumani’s songs sending the crowd into a frenzy. True to the concept of a family show, Fungisai invited some young children on stage and they danced the afternoon away. They were elated to rub shoulders with the diva as evidenced by their ecstatic faces.
Fungisai was equally elated by the experience saying: “I have brought a surprise for you today and I want Suluman to join me on stage. “I have sung reggae and gospel but today I will give you a sungura song with Suluman and Dhewa’s beat,” said Fungisai on stage.

She then belted out the song titled Ndiye Jesu blending it with the dendera and sungura beat compelling Suluman to join her on stage. This act left the capacity crowd clamouring for more and suggesting that Fungisai record the song using the same instrumentals.
“Go and record that song in the same way Fungisai,” chorused the crowd. Fungisai then saluted the crowd, kissed them goodbye and paved way for Tongai Moyo and Sulumani Chimbetu, who like her also had a good day in office. H METRO
