Sulumani on boat cruise

Sulumani Chimbetu
Sulumani Chimbetu has struck a deal with the Northern Cruise Tour Company in Kariba where he will entertain tourists on a boat cruise on Saturday. Alois Chimbangu, managing director of the cruise firm, yesterday said he was elated about the deal.

“We have invited him to be our cruise musician on Saturday (tomorrow) where he will perform for tourists from morning till late in the day,” Chimbangu said.

“After the cruise, he will head to ZV Hotel where his legion of Kariba fans will have a chance to dance with him. He is going to tour all our properties on the same day and that is where we are going to discuss his new role as the ambassador of our company.”

Chimbangu said the move was in tandem with the tourism drive aimed at marketing Kariba and the country as a safe tourist destination. After reshuffling his management team, Sulu has struck a number of lucrative deals with various local companies like Zinara, Green Card Medical Aid Society and Kwekwe-based Autoworx.

Joe Nyamungoma, Sulu’s public relations manager, confirmed the Kariba deal. “We were invited to Kariba for a cruise show and we are ready for it,” Kamungoma said.“This would be the first time we perform on such a platform and we are thrilled by the invitation which will see the beginning of even greater ventures for our brand.”
