Weekend Outing

TGIF, the weekend is upon us again. Here is a list of events taking place over this weekend.

Prince Edward SchoolDrummer Blessing Chimanga will host the “Let the drums speak” concert at the school tonight. Dudu Manhenga, Josh Meck, Adiona Maboreke and the Watershed choir are also billed to perform at the event.
Destiny Night Club
Tryson Chimbetu will tonight perform at the Destiny Night club, Westlea, Harare. Tomorrow he will go to the Boomerang along Chinhoyi Street while on Sunday he invades what has become his favourite home, Mushandirapamwe Hotel, in Highfield for a family show with cousin Douglas Chimbetu.

La Vida
The new VIP Lounge located at Helensvale shopping centre in Borrowdale will officially open its doors tonight with an event dubbed “Amore Fridays”. DJs T-Bass and P-Stylez will play music for guests.

Mekka
DJs Rax, Raydizz and Rawse will play at the cocktail lounge tomorrow evening. The lounge is located at the Sam Levy’s Village.

Tony’s Nite Spot (Portugal Rest — Pensão)
Located at corner Samora Machel Avenue and Eighth Street, Pensão is the place to be for party-loving clubbers. Top Deck DJs Slow and Symphk will be playing hard dancehall, conscious, hip-hop and ragga vibes- guaranteed to rock all night long. An open-air braai is on 24/7 and ice-cold beverages.

Chikangwe Tarven, Karoi
Man-of-the-moment Sulumani Chimbetu will have a date with Karoi fans tonight on his way to ZV Hotel Kariba the next day.

Megga One
Upon his return from the Karoi and Kariba adventure, Sulu will on Sunday thrill his fans at Megga One where he will be supported by Jah Prayzah.

Jazz 105
Known to be the ceremonial home of jazz in Harare, jazz lovers will have another winter warmer concert before the highly anticipated Winter Jazz Festival rocking to some of the finest jazz and blues sounds from Victor Kunonga tonight.

Chez Ntemba
DJs Dollar Bill and Seductive Gee will entertain revellers at the club’s upper section while DJs Ben and Luckerz play rhumba rhythms on the bottom section.

Kebab Centre
Tomorrow Kebab Centre will host a “Saturday Summer Jams” party dubbed “MaRasta at Kebab/Alliance Party” in the afternoon. The event will feature Judgement Yard, Legendary Sound and the Presidential Clique.

Red Fox Hotel
Mic Inity will rock the motel with “Fire Friday” tonight while tomorrow will be the “Winter Saturday BBQ” featuring the Red Fox Family Sound. On Sunday there will be the “Mad Sunday Special” featuring the Presidential Clique.

The Basement Nightclub.
Reggae Lovers will have another dance during the Reggae Rockers Friday with Redemption Sound alongside Garvey. The party will continue on Saturday starting midday with the Redemption Juniors on the decks.

Musakanene Open Air Bar
Located along Chitungwiza Road near Irvine’s, this place for revellers who have had too much of city life. Tomorrow upcoming sungura band Zhekezheke Express will entertain patrons. On Sunday Extra Power Dancers will take to the stage serenading fans with their electrifying dance routines.

Chipinge Country Club
The young Igwee, Peter Moyo will have a stint with fans in Chipinge today where he is billed to perform at Chisangano Beerhall. Tomorrow he will head to Chipinge Country Club before his anticipated show at The Place, Checheche, on Sunday. Newsday
