Ever since Big Brother Stargame started this year, Roki has been talking about how he admired Eve, the Botswana Downville housemate who was evicted last week saying he hoped she would be upgraded to Upville. Unfortunately, Roki’s dream has been shattered because she is now out of the game.

Roki was disappointed on Sunday when he saw Keitta (Ghana) from Downville walking into Upville. Roki figured Eve had been evicted from the game and all his hopes to be with her in Upville had been dashed. But many viewers should be asking if Roki and Eve knew each other before and what kind of relationship they had.

BOTSWANA sisters Edith and Eve are happy they have left the Big Brother Africa house together. For Edith it would not have made sense had she been the only one axed from the show since she and Eve started the show as a pair.

"As selfish as it might seem, I really wanted us to leave together. I cannot be without my sister," Edith said boldly. Eve feels the same way and said the twist that Big Brother, or Biggie, created - of having housemates enter as a couple and leave as single - was unfair.

DKB, Zainab disqualified from BBStarGame

Big Brother StarGame contestants Ghanaian DKB and Siera Leonean Zainab were disqualified yesterday after they fought, as drama unfolds among housemates in Upville house. The brawl started after Zainab (26) opened the door while DKB was taking a shower. Incensed by the move, DKB confronted Zainab and warned her not to open the door while he took a shower. Instead of saying sorry, Zainab told DKB to go to hell.

“What the f***k is wrong with you . . . that’s your own problem,” she screamed. DKB warned Zainab and that if she repeated the act he would slap her, to which Zainab became provocative and replied by saying: “Slap me now, slap me”.

BBA 2012 Auditions opens in March

M-Net and Endemol, the organisers of the Big Brother Africa (BBA) reality show which will launch on May 6, will run open auditions for the country’s representatives at the Meikles Hotel from March 9 to 11. Although many aspirants have filled entry forms, the auditions will be stretched to include others that did not submit paperwork.

M-Net Africa managing director Biola Alabi said the open auditions were mainly for people who did not manage to submit paper and electronic entries to the MultiChoice offices on time. “We know that sometimes people do miss the cut-off for sending in their paper entry, so we’re opening the casting sessions again this year to late entries. Those people need to simply come to the casting venue and meet the team,” said Alabi.

Casting for M-Net's Big Brother Africa reality show begins in February, with an interesting requirement - that all would-be participants enter in pairs. The seventh season of the continent's attention-grabbing Big Brother Africa series reality show will be hitting DStv's channel 198 in May and will be beamed live in more than 14 countries. MultiChoice Zimbabwe public relations and publicity manager Liz Dziva said entrants would now be required to bring a partner as part of the selection process.
