Rihanna splashes £100,000 on a Marilyn Menroe diamond coated Potrait

Rihanna
The 'We Found Love' hitmaker commissioned British artist Claire Milner to create the huge picture of the tragic Hollywood icon using 65,000 Swarovski crystals and then spent thousands of pounds to have it shipped to her home in Beverly Hills.

Claire told The Sun newspaper: "I tried to show the glitter of the public life and the sadness in Marilyn's eyes. Because of who Rihanna is everything had to be done through her interior decorators. But they told me afterwards that she loved it.

"A 100 per cent Swarovski crystal portrait is very luxurious - people stand and stare because it constantly changes colour, sending rainbows round the room."

'She's flat broke': Whitney Houston 'has spent her $100m fortune'

Bad finance: The star reportedly signed a six-album deal worth $100 million in 2001

She’s about to make her big screen comeback in the remake of Sparkle with popstar Jordin Sparks but Whitney Houston is reportedly 'broke'. The 48-year-old singer - who has overcome crack cocaine addiction - has allegedly spent all of her fortune, including a reported $100million record deal.

Whitney is being financially supported by her record label Arista, which has given her an advance payment on her next album, according to reports. ‘Whitney's fortune is gone. Music industry heavy hitters are supporting her and her label is fronting her cash against her next album, but no one knows when that will be released’ a source told Radaronline.com. ‘She might be homeless if not for people saving her. She is broke as a joke.’

She's back! Whitney Houston shines as Jordin Sparks' mother in remake of musical movie Sparkles

Jordin Sparks and Whitney Houston
Whitney Houston is probably one of the greatest RNB singers of this century. She sold millions of records during the peak of her career. Now Whitney is staring in a new movie called Sparkle.

The original 1976 movie starred Philip Michael Thomas, Irene Cara and Lonette McKee but Whitney Houston and Jordin Sparks are bringing a modern hint of glamour to Sparkle. The pair can be seen all glammed up in the first shot released from the film, a remake of the blockbuster about how a girl group experiences turmoil after one of their members turns to drugs and another achieves their desired fame alone.

Jay-Z wont degrade women in his songs following birth of daughter

Jy-Z and wife Beyonce
Rapper Jay-Z, father of a new baby girl, has made a poetic announcement. (Really, he announced it in a poem.) He says he will no longer use the B-word to describe women. Before I got in the game, made a change, and got rich/ I didn't think hard about using the word bi*ch/I rapped, I flipped it, I sold it, I lived it/Now with my daughter in this world I curse those that give it.

There's more, including: No man will degrade her, or call her name/I'm so focused on your future, the degradation has passed/ I wish you wealth, health and insight/Forever young you may pass/Blue Ivy Carter, my angel.
