Comedian-cum-musician Freddy Manjalima, otherwise known as Kapfupi, never ceases to amaze. After introducing dwarf Majisa and his wife Mai Nga to the music scene, he is now taking them to the small screen. In an interview last week, Kapfupi revealed that he was on set, working on What Goes Around Comes Around, Part 2.
"This year I do not see myself working on any album as I have put all my effort on this drama. "I am expecting to finish it early next month and I hope it will bring refreshing entertainment to people's homes. He added that he was still courting some corporate companies to assist him in financing the project as he was afraid of working for nothing due to the crippling piracy.
"The drama is ready, but what we are trying to do is to get advertisement on it so that we can cash in on it before piracy does. "The people that I am working with need to be paid since music and drama is their living, so we have approached a number of companies with the view to clinching a deal that can put something in our pockets," said Kapfupi. He also said that it had taken him longer working on the project since he had to take Mai Nga through acting lessons. "Mai Nga has never acted all her life. So we had to take her through some drills, and that caused the delay.
