Flavour fails to deliver in Harare

Nigerian musician Flavour failed to rise to the occasion. What was supposed to be a debut dream show turned out to be a disappointment after Flavour (Okoli Chinedu) failed to impress the fans. He appeared on stage well after 3am on Saturday morning and started playing CDs.

Accompanied by one male vocalist and two Djs, the Nigerian artist unashamedly started flaunting his torso in front of a shocked crowd. The fans started trickling out when he was in his second song, and those who remained, appeared shocked by the drama that was unfolding before them.

High octane gig on tonight

TWO of the Zimbabwe’s prominent musicians, Oliver “Tuku” Mtukudzi and Alexio Kawara, are tonight set to illuminate Harare when they host Nigerian artiste Flavour at a high-octane gig slated for Andy Millar Hall tonight. Flavour, born Okoli Chinedu, a well-known hip-hop and contemporary musician, will cement his romance with the Zimbabwean populace with a one-off special show at the joint.

Flavour jets in Harare on Friday

Nigerian musician Flavour is expected in Zimbabwe on Friday morning for his one-off show in Harare with two of the country’s greatest crooners — Oliver Mtukudzi and Alexio Kawara. The show, to be held at the Andy Millar Hall on Friday night is expected to illuminate the city, which will also be playing host to some of the world’s greatest footballers, who will be in Zimbabwe to attend Benjani Mwaruwari’s Testimonial Match.

One of Zimbabwe’s seasoned contemporary artiste, Alexio Kawara, will this month raise his profile high, when he curtain raises for Nigerian musician Chinedu Okoli known in entertainment circles as Flavour. The gig will take place on May 25, at the Andy Millar Hall in Harare.

West African ‘Flavour’ comes to Harare

Zimbabwean music fans will later this month be treated to some West African flavour, when Nigerian musician Chinedu Okoli, better known as Flavour, shares the stage with Oliver Mtukudzi in Harare. Flavour is riding high with three of his hit songs, “Nwa Baby (Sawale)”, “Adanma” and Oyi”, which are currently receiving heavy rotation on local radio stations, in clubs, at almost every party in town.
